From Monday December 19 to Friday December 23, the DJs of Radio 538, listeners, friends of the station, companies and other organizations will be in action to collectively raise as much money as possible for our center.
This is the third year in a row that Radio 538 has committed to charity with Mission 538 in the days before Christmas. Last year, Radio 538 raised money for 12 different causes, of which the Máxima Center was one.
Coco Hermans, Radio Director 538: 'Last year, when we competed with Radio 538 for a 3D ultrasound machine for the Princess Máxima Center, we experienced what this released in the Netherlands. In less than twelve hours we raised double the target amount! The overwhelming stories from our listeners, the final proceeds and heartwarming reactions from parents made us decide to fully dedicate 'Mission 538' to the Prinses Máxima Center this year. At a later date it will be announced where the proceeds will go.

Listeners can decide what music is heard in exchange for a donation. They can also start their own action and donate the proceeds, support someone else's action or make a loose donation. Radio 538 is also starting an auction again this year. Among other things, well-known friends of the station and companies can offer their products and experiences, which listeners can bid on live during the broadcast. In this way, the DJs and listeners are working day and night to raise as much money as possible.
