Nathalie Lak

I work at the Princess Máxima Center as a pediatric oncologist specialized in treating children with brain tumors. Together with the neurosurgeon, neurologist and radiation oncologist, I treat and support children and their parents.

I also conduct research on liquid biopsies. In this research, we look for molecular traces in blood and cerebrospinal fluid that can help us make a diagnosis and tailor the treatment to each individual child. Our ultimate goal is to develop less invasive tests and improve the treatment of childhood cancer.
