As a pediatric physical therapist, I support children in their development, especially physically. The effects of the disease and its treatment can impact activities such as walking, running, and playing sports. Through our ‘Maximaal Bewegen’ program, we encourage all children to be as physically active as they can, so they can grow into independent adults.

Since 2003, I have worked as a pediatric physical therapist in a pediatric oncology center, the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital. Since May 1, 2018, I have been working at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology.
