Care network
KinderOncoNet is a national care network where professionals, children, parents and survivors connect and share care, making knowledge and expertise available at the right time and close to home. Connection is the key to ensuring quality and continuity of care. The project includes the development of a knowledge platform and a care finder, and it offers training for healthcare professionals.

Close to home
Because childhood cancer is rare, healthcare professionals in other centers have relatively little contact with children with cancer during or after treatment. For physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, rehabilitation physicians and other specialists, it is therefore important to receive targeted training and advice from the Princess Máxima Center alongside their own expertise. We facilitate this through a multidisciplinary care network of healthcare providers in primary, secondary and tertiary care, where they can connect with each other and share care. This network plays a crucial role both during and after treatment.
